How to Find the Right Hotel

• Guest Reviews:  Read the Guest Reviews.  Always start here.  There is no use wasting your time if some other guest took the time to write a negative review.

• Discount Rates?  Check to see if our hotelmotelNOW.com Discount Rates are offered.  If they are offered, the field below will be marked "Yes".  These rates give you the most bang for your buck.  And yes, we really do guarantee our rates to be the best available anywhere.

• Age of Property/Renovated?  See how old the property is, especially if it is ranked less than 3 stars.  Has it been newly renovated?  Does it offer high speed wi-fi internet access?  If it does you can be reasonably sure that it is under good management.  If not, move on.

• Star Rating:  Check the star rating.  Mobil Star ratings are the best and most accurate.  Diamond ratings are the next best source.  Hotels that are ranked 3, 4, or 5 star are the class.  2 stars be cautious.

• 2 Star Rating?  If a property is rated 2 stars, there is a reason for it.  It may offer you a better rate but the tradeoff is quality.  Very importantly, if you have any problem (room, cleanliness, security, etc.), you will have a harder time getting your money back.  Ask yourself, is it really worth the risk and hassle to save a few bucks?

• Security:  Security should always be an issue, especially for women, small children, and youngsters.  Does the property have insider corridors?  If not, move on.
